SOLE TALK
SPEAK FROM YOUR SOUL, THROUGH YOUR SOLES.
Our international youth tap dance company is committed to training and empowering young tap dancers in a diverse and positive environment. We focus on tap technique, self-esteem building, entrepreneurship skills, networking, and community service. With 150 members currently activated across the globe (U.S., Canada, Mexico, Latvia, Brazil, New Zealand), our monthly sessions offer rigorous training that leads to exciting performance opportunities in venues including the Skirball Center, the LA Children’s Book Fair, Literacy Across Harlem, and more - even opening for the internationally renowned Syncopated Ladies! Our dream is to help the next generation of thoughtful, intelligent, creative, free-thinking leaders flourish!
ABOUT US
Sole Talk Youth is a training and performing tap dance company! The company meets monthly for 5 hours in Los Angeles on a Sunday. Zoom is available for out of towners. Monthly rehearsals include technique, choreography, elective class (hip-hop, african dance) and a lunch discussion. Teachers include Chloe and Maud and industry leaders in tap dance and all of the arts!
OUR VISION
Sole Talk Youth Tap Company was founded in 2016 by sisters Chloé and Maud Arnold, inspired by all of the incredibly talented and passionate young tap dancers they were meeting around the world. Sole Talk is more than just a “tap dance” company. It is about building confident, kind, well-rounded, successful and intelligent dancers and global citizens. Company members represent all demographics from socio-economic, cultural, race and location. Sole Talkers grow on and off of the dance floor. We are a non-competitive, educational, healthy, fun and affordable training and performance company.
